Boulle has received National Innovation Awards from CNI (National Confederation of Industries) and SEBRAE Nacional in Product Innovation and Health and Safety at Work, standing out as the furniture sector company with the most awards for Innovation in Brazil in 2019.

It all started as a hobby for Ugo Guttierrez Filho, when he decided to make furniture for his own home. His eldest son, Ugo Neto, realized that he had great talent, creativity and a great talent for working with solid wood. And so Boulle went from being a hobby to becoming the family's main business, which today also includes the youngest son, designer Rodolpho Guttierrez, another passionate about art, design and sustainability.

Boulle uses wood as its main source of raw material and has its own team that searches for it in the most remote regions of Latin America. Trees that have fallen naturally, wood submerged in rivers or dams, and old pieces are given a new lease of life, a new function, and a new use with the creative touch of designers.

Currently on the international market, the company has points of sale in California, Canada and Italy, also exporting directly to anywhere in the world.
